What is the difference between Canthoplasty and Canthopexy?
Both treatments aim to tighten or reposition the outer corners of the eye but they use slightly different techniques. Canthopexy is a less invasive procedure that uses invisible stitches to reposition and strengthen the outer eye. Canthoplasty is slightly more involved in that it requires the muscles and tendons to be cut and shortened.
Which is better: Canthoplasty or Canthopexy?
We don’t believe that one treatment is superior to another based on the procedure alone, but what is most appropriate for your individual circumstances. Your bespoke treatment plan is created with numerous factors in mind, and during your consultation we will happily advise treatment options.
